I left the last time without entering a blog and didn't end up writing one before class, so I will write for both classes today.

Wow!!!!!

There is so much useful information that I don't know where to start. I guess the best way is to start one step at a time and incorporate a little at a time.

Looking forward to the next one.

Wiki's are cool. I have no idea how I would integrate this activity into a Tech Ed. class but I will probably try at some point. Setting up the page seems to be pretty easy thanks to Mr. J showing how he did it and having the kids contribute to it seems to be pretty easy also.
Learning how to use keywords and phrases to limit the responses to important links is a little difficult to get use to but I'm sure it would be helpful. I think the more that you use it the easier it will get.

It was good to learn about the Minerva site to look for information. This site seemed relatively easy to use. The Marvel site was more difficult and harder to understand but loaded with options. I am sure that with much practice it would become easier and very useful.

Todays session was very informative! It was very neat learning about making tables in word and discovering the rubric websites which are amazingly easy to use to create. I can't believe as Lee Anne said that the district hasn't encouraged us to use the rubric making websites.

The class is long but seems to go by fairly quickly because the topic is interesting and worthwhile for all of us. Just the type of class that is worth taking.

Until next time!!!!!!!

InfoLit Session 2

The topics in this class are interesting and informative and seem that they would be very useful for teaching kids.

The hardest part for me will be to be able to develop ways to integrate it into what I teach.

Or, will that be the easiest thing to do?
