Publisher seems like a cool program to use. I took one of those one credit classes several years ago but never did anything with it. Now that we have dabbled in it relating to this class I think that it might motivate me to do something with it.

Now that the class is almost over, my goal will be to spend the next couple of months to try to figure out how I will incorporate the ideas into my teaching for next year. Its a bonus to have you both right in the school to use as a resouce and also to have the gold page to refer back to anytime we need to.

Cool ideas and useful information. It just keeps coming and coming. Everytime I am in class I do have ideas of how I could integrate some of the ideas. I think that I will just need time to process it and put it together.

I love the fact that we will always have the gold page to refer back to to refresh my memory of the things that we learned.

I will probably try to incorporate some of the things this year but hope to use more next year. I think this could be the recharge that I may have needed after the past 11 years that I have been teaching here.

This class has been great. It is long and a hard time of the day but has enought interesting things to it to make it definetely worth while. It has been by far better than just a class to get 3 recertification credits for. It has been great to just walk upstairs to get here and to have 2 colleagues teaching it who have done an awesome job!!!!

Only two more to go! How did it go by that fast?

Power Point is awesome and would be so cool to use in class. I can see how kids and adults can get lost in making everything look so cool and fun. It is addicting to use and try to make as fancy as possible.

I still feel a little overwhelmed with how much stuff there is to this class but I will try to take it a little at a time.

I left the last time without entering a blog and didn't end up writing one before class, so I will write for both classes today.

Wow!!!!!

There is so much useful information that I don't know where to start. I guess the best way is to start one step at a time and incorporate a little at a time.

Looking forward to the next one.

Wiki's are cool. I have no idea how I would integrate this activity into a Tech Ed. class but I will probably try at some point. Setting up the page seems to be pretty easy thanks to Mr. J showing how he did it and having the kids contribute to it seems to be pretty easy also.
Learning how to use keywords and phrases to limit the responses to important links is a little difficult to get use to but I'm sure it would be helpful. I think the more that you use it the easier it will get.

It was good to learn about the Minerva site to look for information. This site seemed relatively easy to use. The Marvel site was more difficult and harder to understand but loaded with options. I am sure that with much practice it would become easier and very useful.

Later Gater!

Todays session was very informative! It was very neat learning about making tables in word and discovering the rubric websites which are amazingly easy to use to create. I can't believe as Lee Anne said that the district hasn't encouraged us to use the rubric making websites.

The class is long but seems to go by fairly quickly because the topic is interesting and worthwhile for all of us. Just the type of class that is worth taking.

Until next time!!!!!!!
